The idea for this song came to me after smoking was banned in public buildings and you began to see groups of smokers congregating outside. It started me thinking about how us humans often do what we want, despite knowing it’s harmful.

I finished the chorus, but I only half sketched the verses. Pepin and Leslie completed them with me. This song is loved by the dancers, particularly those who like Cuban Casino style. The violin loops drive the Cuban Charanga sound.
